Thanks Daphne...this should help a lot. Regards, Dave Berryman Dave, when my phosphate levels get high, I just hit the tank with nitrate. I don't add TMG at that point, just stump remover (potassium nitrate). The phosphate falls within 24 hours. Tom Barr taught me that one. Daphne
