No.  The need is not there because this list is
not moderated.  The APD is a forum, not an entity.

A legal opinion is required here.  That argument
is not baseless.

Imagine the field day petswarehouse would have if
this were a moderated list, and there was an entity
responsible at some level for the discussion.  There
is no possible argument in favor of incurring that
liability (especially at this point).

I don't understand the correlation between moderated
or not and financial support.  This is a valuable
forum, and I'd pay to support her against unfair and
baseless charges either way (this time, next time, 
any time.)
