I was sorry to see all the negative response to Steve Pushak's post. This 
list is so valuable to me and so many others because of its information 
about planted aquaria. It does not serve our community well to become the 
ARN (anti-Robert Novak) list, instead of the APD list. A discussion of Mr. 
Novak's personality by people who have not met nor interacted him will 
surely strengthen his opinion that this list is a place where character is 
defamed without regard to truth; it could strengthen his legal case as well. 
I hope this board remains unmoderated; it seems to me that we can guarantee 
that by moderating ourselves. I realize the suit must be discussed, and 
contributions to the defense fund encouraged, but I hope the focus can stay 
on planted aquaria issues, not people.
