RE: Aquatic Plants Digest V4 #1362
Yep, I've had all kinds of good luck with little bits of java ferns
sprouting into full grown plants. If your plant has been reduced to just a
rhizome it is still entirely possible to regrow it. Just do your best to
ensure that the conditions are optimal for it. Good luck!

Subject: java fern stump
I have a java fern cultivar that I neglected, got lost
under some other plants, and all the leaves died. It
is now rhizome-only. The rhizome is still green. Has
anyone had a java fern come back from only a rhizome?
Or is this guy history?
