Re:duckweed

In the family of duckweeds, Lemnaceae:

There are two varities of "Giant duckweed", Spirodela and Landoltia. Leafs
reach 5mm.

Common duckweed is Lemna of which there are,
Lemna minor, Lemna trisulca, Lemna gibba.

Spirodela species are the largest of the Lemnaceae. Originally they were
termed Lemna major before being placed in a separate genus.

Even smaller than Lemna is Wolffia, and yet another specie Wolffiella looks
nothing like typical duckweed, consisting of star like clusters of leafy
frongs.
