I have 90 gallon and 60 gallon planted tanks. The 60 gallon (3' long) has a
single 175 watt MH (6500K) in a Syper reflector over it. The 90 gallon (4'
long) has 3 - 96 watt CF lamps (2-5000K, 1-6500K) from AH Supply. Both are
roughly 3 watts/gallon. I have to say that the 90 gallon looks brighter and
better, performs better, and shows off the fish colors better, imo. I will
be converting the 60 gallon to CF at the next lamp change.
