Hi  ... I tried to post a response to this a couple of days
ago but my message never reached APD for some reason.
The plant guru at my LFS (Aquarium Center, Randallstown,
MD) recently told me that Ameca splendens is a good hair
algae eater. The store recently got some fish, and she stuck
a hairy Java fern in the tank. The fish picked it clean.
