Re: Australian sources for bottled CO2
Common sources for CO2, if you haven't already come across them are:
firefighting supply house--these places refill CO2 fire extinguishers
and can refill any tested CO2 tank.
Welding supply houses--CO2 is used in some welding processes and tanks
and CO2 are usually available
Soft drink vending supply houses--As James points out, most restaurants
buy soft drinks in concentrated syrup form, and add water and CO2 when
the product is vended.
You can search out these sources in a yellow pages directory and shop
for the cheapest or closest source. Most areas have either fire
fighting, welding, or soft drinks, so you're bound to find a CO2
source.
