Len, you don't need to spend $200 for a dosing pump - the Eheim Liquidoser
will do what you want for a lot less money.

As for "solid PMDD", why reinvent the wheel? If you want to use a "solid"
fertilizer product, Duplaplant tablets would feed your plants (and you could
use the Liquidoser to take care of the additions of Duplaplant 24). Monolith
Marine Monsters (m3) carries Dupla fertilizers.
