a few questions
hi guys!!
I am persisting in planting my 2 goldie tanks and
have
had good and bad results.
I have a few questions if anybody wouldn't mind
answering. I'm sure some of them have been
"beaten in
the gravel" so to speak but here goes..
1. if the algea changes from brown to green to
slimy
stuff to fur is this good or bad? i'm sure it
indicates something but what??
2. how slow is slow? you talk about plant growth,
but
is there a way to tell by growth how things are
doing?
3. I don't think my plants ever pearl. should
they?
or are they and the current from the Aquaclear is
carrying them away?
4. Can fish alone provide enough CO2 for good
growth?
I am thinking about getting an CO2 system, but
other
things have come up so I stalling.
there are 14 goldfish in the 55G and 3 goldfish
and 1
betta in the 30G.
I am starting to keep better notes on my tanks
trials
and errors. If anybody is interested I'll be
happy to
share what I've discoved.
