For what it's worth, the same thing happened to my
amano shrimp. Acted like they wanted to crawl out of
the tank, a couple dead the next morning (out of about
15). I too did not properly acclimate these guys.
They had not been shipped, had lived in local water,
so I was a little cavalier adding them. Mistake.
Perhaps they are extra sensitive to pH changes.
