Re:CO2 question

Maximizing exposure to the water, turbulence, and temperature all
affect the amount of absorbtion. So levels should be maintainable
using less CO2 if it mixes well, in mixing canister or tube (reactor),
or under a pump return such as you mention. You might try making your
own reactor for few dollars worth of parts.

But, by all means, try whatever devices you have and try them in
different places, allowing a day or two for stabilization between
changes. You might be surprised at the difference in results. Monitor
CO2 levels a few hours after changing the set up to be sure you haven't
caused too sharp a change in CO2 levels and/or pH.

Good Luck and please share with us what results you have,
Scott
