state of the hobby
Recently I was able to get ahold of some Aqua Journals
(Amano's publication). Neil Frank has a nice article
in vol. 33, about the state of the aquarium plant
hobby in the USA. That was 1998. So I am curious?
What are we seeing out there now? More LFSs carrying
more plants? Here in Houston I only know of one LFS
that carries a wide selection of healthy plants.
Also of interest in the Frank article was that Innes
had suggested using tied-down riccia in 1935 or so.
That means we were Amano before Amano. :) Hmm, I
wonder what Innes used for co2.... :)
