What you might do is try adjusting the reflector to
direct light back to the rear of the tank. You could
lose some of the effects of the reflector but I bet
you would not have to adjust much to get it aimed to
the widdle of the tank. When I worked for Marineland a
few years ago, I tried to convince them that a CF
version of this thing would sell like hot cakes. They
obviously disagreed :-(
