I know what Roger means by dirt collecting in the foreground. Perhaps one of
Amano's newer techniques of using "cosmetic" sand" (non planted) to line the
front can alleviate that? The physical seperation of growing medium and the
use of decorative sand are some of the interesting things to try. Not to
mention a more complex substrate structure is good for business;-)
