Hi. I'm going to allow myself to be sucked into the infectious disease
thing "one more time".  I think that he is concerned about the Mycoplasma
species in the tanks (a TB-like illness causing pathogen).(I can't remeber
the last human BGA outbreak, can you?)  This can
infect humans and is thus a concern.  To set the record straight, this bug
is already resistant to erythromycin (we use it's close cousin
clarithromycin (Biaxin) and the TB drugs to treat it, and yes cross
resistance can theoretically
occur)  Check Sanford's Infectious
Disease if interested. OK, really, I'm done now.
