If you aren't experienced in the handling of concentrated strong acids, I would recommend that you look at using citric acid instead (it is sold in some supermarkets for canning and food preservation purposes). It is usually sold in crystalline form so you would need to dissolve some in water first and then slowly add some of this solution to the tank.
