Hi List,
I am tossing around a ? I never thought of.

I have 2 x 175w MH and a 40w GE 5500k over my 100 G.

Anyway, the MH are rated at 6500k and have a
Plastic UV protection piece in the MH Pendant.

Would the plastic UV protection piece in anyway
alter the MH output ?
Would it altering LUX, Lumen or the Color Spectrum
like a normal Sunglass ?

I never thought about it and would appreciate
any response.
