Potassium deficiency holes vs snail damage

I'm curious as to what kind of holes a lot of us have
mentioned as snail damage are that or potassium
deficiency.  In the past, I've seen pinholes that
gradually expand and may be brown around the edges. 
Potassium deficiency.    

Snail damage is larger, irregularly shaped holes, many
of which are connected.  

MTS never hurt anything.  I can say that with 150%
confidence.
