I have a small Royal Whiptail (4 inches) who is *superb* at munching algae,
especially diatoms and other "short" algae. These guys do get large, though,
about 10-12 inches so it's possible he may be a problem in the future. Very
peaceful, he just goes about his business. No plant damage (yet).
