These are super planted tank critters . I`ve had 5 of them in a 55 G for a
year and they are cool shimps  . They spend their day around moving water
( water from filters) and use their fan-like feet to scoop all the
micro-goodies from the water column . Every now and then you think you`ve
lost one and it turns out to be a shed...looks just like them sans the
innards :)
Wouldn`t have a tank without them .
