re: Catching fish in a planted tank.



I use one of those cheap net type breeding enclosures with a plastic frame 
that is made to hang on the tank.  Tie a small loop of finshing line between 
the holes where the metal hanging clips attach, then tie another piece of 
line on this and hang the end out of the tank. Sink the trap to the bottom on 
the tank with some gravel or whatever, then take a pinch of flake and sink it 
into the trap. The fish are cautious at first, but then start feeding inside 
it. When your victim is inside just pull on the line and the fish don't think 
to swim up. I've cleared entire tanks using this method. Works great.
