Hello all:
My husband gave me a lovely new 100 gallon for Christmas and I'm in need 
of advice on substrates.  My other tank is a 50:50 mix of fluorite and 
gravel.  I've had great luck with the fluorite mix but I'm looking for 
something more economical for the new tank.  Does anyone have any 
experience/success with other substrate materials (ie sand, profile and 
the like).  Also any pearls of wisdom on larger tanks in general, I've 
only dealt with a 50 gallon.
