Well I am glad somebody brought up the obvious. People have a hard enough
time cramming enough standard flourescents over a tank to reach the desired
light level, (2 or 3 watts per gallon, if you want to use that as a unit of
measure), considering flourescents are 4 or 5 times brighter than
incadescents, the number of incadescent bulbs that would be needed to equal
the same amount of light is mind boggling.
