Finally! Tomorrow is my big day because I will start planting my new (and so
far only) 60 gallon tank. My question is plain and simple: how can I
disinfect the new plants to kill any pathogens, snails and algae?

When I searched the APD archive I found some entries on disinfecting new
plants with potassium permanganate (KMnO4) but none of them stated exact
concentrations. Should I use potassium permanganate or should I bleach the
plants? What are the exact concentrations to use (preferably in mg/l)?
