A correction to my post:

I stated that a change of one f/stop corresponds to a sqrt(2) factor in
illumination. That's not true, it corresponds to a factor 2. I was using a
combined f/stop-shutter speed table that has sqrt(2) resolution and that
got me confused. It has been a long time since I did this...

Anyway, this translates to a 20% accuracy instead of 10% for 1/4 f/stop
increments. Still usable, but a lux meter would likely be better !
