The "big hack" works for me as well. But in between I've injected PMDD directly into the substrate using a 3" hypodermic needle and a large syringe. The needle came from a nurse who works in a cathlab, the syringe from the local pharmacy. There is always a burst of growth following this treatment. This gets back to the assumption that laterite "holds" nutrients in the substrate. Tom
