That sounds about right. My 20 lb tank was about 650 when filled. Remember that pressure depends on temperature. Shortly after installing my tank I noticed that the pressure has suddenly dropped by about 50 pounds. I was worried about a leak until I realized the weather had changed overnight and the temperature inside the house had dropped by about 10 degrees! Peter G. Aitken
