Snails in a planted tank
Hi all,
I just got a couple gold snails to help with the algae since they
were only $.50/ea, but ever since I put them in there, the kribs have done
nothing but harass and pick at them. Are they supposed to be good at eating
algae? I don't know if they eat plants and I've been told that Ramshorns
are okay for planted tanks, but this place didn't have those. The kribs are
a breeding pair who are protecting some young 'uns, but I was hoping they
would just ignore them like they do the ottos? Maybe after some time...Any
suggestions or comments? Thanks.
